Finding love again Surely Tomorrow with Park Seo-joon, Won Ji-ahn
by tccolb

Wistfully hoping for Surely Tomorrow in JTBC’s latest poster and video teaser, it’s a will-they-won’t-they scenario once again for Park Seo-joon (Gyeongseong Creature 2) and Won Ji-ahn (Tempest) to potentially make their third time a charm.
Having already dated twice before – first at the start and then for a second round at the end of their 20s – the trailer takes us through a quick run-through of more than a decade of turbulent history between our main pair. And even though Lee Gyung-do (Park Seo-joon) and Seo Ji-woo (Won Ji-ahn) are now in their 30s in our story’s present day, the captions reveal that their break-up many years ago is still not over, emotionally.
Indeed, it’s quite telling that Gyung-do’s wish is to only feel positively about his ex-girlfriend, desiring to think, ‟Oh, it was nice to see her,” whenever they happen to meet. However, our hero hasn’t figured out how to reach that point and is understandably unhappy to run into Ji-woo yet again.
Although we haven’t been told why things ended (twice), it is clear that our leads still love each other dearly. And it seems they’re also trying to grapple with what love truly means and what it actually entails to build a strong relationship.
Surely Tomorrow, though, Gyung-do and Ji-woo will find growth and start to mature in love when the romance begins its thoughtful tale on December 6. Broadcasting on weekends following The Dream Life of Mr. Kim, JTBC’s upcoming series has PD Im Hyung-wook (King the Land) directing with scripts by Yoo Young-ah (Divorce Attorney Shin).
